Htvag Agent

Get Htvag Agent Desktop

The full agent — file editing, a persistent shell, test runs — lives in the desktop app, because that is where your code is. Version 0.9.35.

Prefer the command line?

Install the CLI with npm — works in a regular terminal on macOS/Linux, or inside WSL or PowerShell on Windows.

Install

npm install -g htvag-agent

Permission error on Linux/macOS? Your npm is set up to need root for global installs — run sudo npm install -g htvag-agent instead.

Sign in, then run it

htvag login && htvag

Requires Node.js 20 or later. The CLI shares the same account, sign-in, and free daily quota as the desktop app — it just runs in the folder you launch it from instead of asking you to pick one.

After you install

  1. 01

    Click Sign in

The app opens your browser at this site and waits. Approve the request, and you're signed in automatically — nothing to copy, no keys to paste anywhere.

  2. 02

    Open a folder

Pick any repo. The agent is confined to that folder: it cannot read or write anything outside it.

  3. 03

    Describe the outcome

It plans, edits, runs your build and tests, fixes what breaks, and reports what it verified. Every signed-in account gets a daily quota — no setup required.

Editing video instead?

Htvag Editor runs in your browser — drop in footage and music, say what you want, and it cuts to the beat, trims the dead air and burns in captions. Your files are decoded, edited and encoded in the tab; nothing is uploaded.
